Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation while administering medications safely and performing procedures such as IV cannulation. Lead the Medical Assessment Unit with minimal supervision by deputising for the Clinical Nurse Manager, delegating workloads, and mentoring student nurses and new staff. Respond promptly to emergencies, escalate concerns appropriately, and contribute to quality improvement through audits, adverse incident reporting, and data collection. Maintain effective stock management and participate in continuing professional development. This role requires a Registered General Nurse with at least one year of MAU experience, current BLS certification, and ALS certification where applicable.
