Job Summary
Conduct primary nursing care for assigned patients under Registered Nurse oversight, utilizing the nursing process to ensure safe, evidence-based interventions and optimal outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and revise individualized care plans while documenting progress in electronic medical records. Manage clinical supervision of Patient Care Associates, delegate assignments, and provide mentorship to foster team autonomy. Participate in shared governance, quality improvement projects, and unit activities including meal service, while maintaining strict compliance with policies and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good intuition
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
