Job Summary
Conduct primary nursing care for assigned patients with RN oversight, ensuring all interventions align with established standards and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to monitor patient outcomes and actively participate in care planning that supports patient autonomy. Document care delivery in electronic medical records, initiate necessary safety reports, and delegate clinical tasks to nursing assistants while maintaining accountability for your own professional development. Participate in shared governance committees, quality data collection, and performance improvement projects. May assume charge nurse responsibilities including shift reporting, clinical supervision, and developing patient care assignments.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good intuition
