Job Summary
Conduct primary nursing care for assigned patients under RN oversight, ensuring all interventions align with established standards and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized care plans while documenting updates in electronic medical records. Supervise patient care associates, delegate assignments, and provide clinical mentorship to foster team autonomy and quality outcomes. Participate in shared governance, quality improvement projects, and unit activities including rounds and meal service. Maintain compliance with safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and performance metrics. Act as a role model for culture change initiatives and patient dignity within the senior care community.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good intuition
