Job Summary
Conduct evening shift nursing care for residents under RN oversight, ensuring all interventions align with established standards and the primary nursing model. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to monitor patient outcomes, participate in care planning, and document updates in electronic medical records. Provide clinical supervision to patient care associates, delegate assignments, and assist with unit activities such as meal service. Act as a mentor to staff, model professional behavior, and respond promptly to safety concerns while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Participate in shared governance committees, quality data collection, and performance improvement projects. May assume charge nurse responsibilities including shift reports, rounding, and developing patient care assignments.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
