Job Summary
Collaborate with registered nurses to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process, ensuring all interventions adhere to established standards and evidence-based practices. Maintain accountability for assigned patients in a primary nursing model while documenting care in electronic medical records and initiating necessary safety reports. Provide clinical supervision to patient care associates, delegate assignments, and serve as a mentor to foster teamwork and professional development. Participate in shared governance, quality improvement projects, and unit activities, including attending rounds and assisting with meal service. Act as a resource for multidisciplinary team members to meet clinical needs and support culture change initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good intuition
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
