Staff Nurse - LPN (Per-diem)

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care under medical supervision, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and emergency interventions for patients in detox and residential substance use programs. Monitor patient safety and psychiatric symptoms, document findings in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to Joint Commission standards and HIPAA regulations while managing crisis situations and suicide risk assessments. This per-diem role requires on-site presence in Mooresville, NC, with Wednesday availability, reporting to the Director of Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Experience in detox
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for patients with mental health conditions
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for substance use disorders
- Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for co-occurring diagnoses
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism
- Ability to maintain objectivity
- Ability to maintain composure in high-stress or emergency situations
- Demonstrated understanding of patient confidentiality

- Schedule: Per-diem
