Job Summary
Ensure all care delivered is within the scope and established standards of safe professional nursing practice while collaborating with a Registered Nurse to meet clinical needs and monitor outcomes. Adhere to best practice recommendations, implement evidence-based interventions, and practice in a primary nursing model with accountability for assigned patients under RN oversight. Document pertinent information in electronic medical records, initiate necessary reports, and delegate clinical care to nursing assistants while assuming accountability for personal learning needs. Actively participate in shared governance, committees, and performance improvement projects to support culture change initiatives and mentor others. This role supports the philosophy and mission of Hebrew SeniorLife, emphasizing patient dignity, choice, and independence in daily life.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good intuition
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
