Job Summary
Provide safe, efficient quality nursing care for patients in a primary nursing model with RN oversight, ensuring all delivered care adheres to established standards and core competencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to meet clinical needs, participate in care planning, and document pertinent information in electronic medical records. Monitor outcomes, identify safety concerns, and respond to incidents while maintaining HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards. Delegate and supervise clinical care for patient care associates, potentially assuming charge nurse responsibilities including shift reports, assignment development, and audit of admissions or discharges. Mentor staff, contribute to performance improvement projects, and actively participate in shared governance and unit activities.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing
- Understand the philosophy and support the model of care at HRC
- Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious, and results-oriented individual
- Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
