Job Summary
Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care for acute patients while managing transitions and providing education to families. Develop individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors. Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, support groups, and healthcare providers through timely communication. Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws to promote an optimal patient experience. Ensure privacy of protected health information and use critical thinking to identify and solve routine or complex problems. Work independently within a team environment to prioritize assignments and meet time-sensitive objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN license evidences completion of a RN program
- RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
- Fetal Monitoring Certificate
- Postpartum within 90 days
- Minimum of 6 months within specialty within the past two years
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts and practices
- Medical terminology

- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
