Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care as part of the 5 West unit on a per diem schedule. Responsible for patient assessment, administration of medications, adherence to nursing process, coordination with multidisciplinary team, and ensuring safety and quality care. Requires CA RN license, BLS; ACLS preferred; BSN preferred or ADN with specialty experience; minimum one year acute hospital and one year medical-surgical experience; per diem, 12-hour daytime shifts; strong communication in English.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred or ADN with three years of specialty experience.
- Minimum of one year acute hospital experience, required.
- One year medical/surgical experience, required.
- Current CA RN license.
- Current certification in area of specialty, certification within the first year preferred.
- Current AHA BLS, required.
- ACLS, preferred.
