Job Summary
Casual Day Shift Staff Nurse at Northwestern Medicine's Gaver's Breast Center. Provides nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process, collaborates with patients, families, and health-care teams, and documents care while adhering to ANA standards. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, developing individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery, evaluating outcomes, and contributing to governance and evidence-based practice. Requires BSN and Illinois RN license; BLS; ADN acceptable with BSN commitment; strong collaboration and analytical skills. Part-time position located in Crystal Lake, IL; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
