Job Summary
Monitor and manage all complaints and incidents, ensuring prompt escalation to the Clinical Coordinator for full investigation and follow-up. Provide high-quality nursing care using an individualised system of care while supervising junior staff during each span of duty. Maintain high standards of patient care with a focus on the department, promote a positive learning environment, and contribute to potential areas of nursing research to improve outcomes. Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to prioritize tasks and deliver a patient-focused service. Requires NMBI registration, one year post-registration experience, and six months in an emergency or acute care setting. Required Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration in the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI
- Minimum of one year post-registration nursing experience
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality patient-focused service
- Willingness to undertake additional training and perform the extended role of the nurse
