Job Summary
Administer medication, provide direct care and support to residents, and communicate with healthcare professionals as required. Develop individualized care plans, conduct assessments, and maintain accurate records while strictly following policies for person-centered care. Oversee and supervise care assistants to deliver the best possible care, effectively managing emergencies and unexpected situations during day shifts. Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN and at least one to two years of experience in a nursing home setting are required. A compassionate attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their unique needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with changing situations and needs
