Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop individualized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required. Manage emergencies and ensure safety by following all policies and procedures for person-centered care. Requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with 1-2 years of nursing home experience. Full-time or part-time shifts up to 48 hours per week at a UK nursing home.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
