Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop individualized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required. Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed for person-centered care. Requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home setting. Full-time or part-time shifts available, with days or nights up to 48 hours per week at a rate of up to £23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs
