Job Summary
Provide direct care and support to elderly residents, including administering medication and conducting assessments to develop individualized care plans. Supervise care assistants and other nursing staff while maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as required. Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to deliver person-centered care. This role requires NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with at least one to two years of experience in a nursing home setting. Shifts are available during the day or night, with hours up to 48 weeks and pay reaching £22 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
