Job Summary
Administer medication, provide direct care and support to elderly residents, and communicate with healthcare professionals as required. Develop individualized care plans, conduct assessments for each resident, and maintain accurate records when necessary. Oversee and supervise care assistants and other nursing staff to deliver person-centered care while strictly following policies. Effectively manage emergencies and unexpected situations during your shift. Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN and at least one to two years' experience in a nursing home setting are required. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude are essential for interacting with residents, families, and the team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a nursing home or a similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their unique needs
