Job Summary
Conduct day case nursing care for surgical patients at New Hall Hospital, Day Surgery Unit Salisbury, ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes with 'more time to care'. Deliver patient-centred support while maintaining safety through the 'Speaking Up for Safety' programme. Maintain current NMC registration and demonstrate proven ability to work effectively within the surgical ward team environment. Complete daily diagnostic and procedural tasks under the supervision of senior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current NMC registration
- Previous experience working within a surgical ward
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- This position is subject to background and DBS checks
