Job Summary
Staff Nurse position in the CVICU with a full-time night schedule. Provides direct and indirect patient care, applies the nursing process, administers medications, manages pain, and supports patient/family education. Engages in clinical scholarship activities (QI, CPI, risk management), participates in unit governance, contributes to staff education and orientation of new personnel, and utilizes real-time computer documentation. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Maryland RN license, and CPR; ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing
- CPR - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS - American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Certification required within 1 year of hire
