Job Summary
Prescribe, provide, delegate, evaluate, and coordinate comprehensive professional nursing care to a designated group of patients under general supervision of the department nurse leader. Oversee non-professional nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care while promoting practices effective in quality and cost. Work cooperatively with ancillary and other health care team members to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and HIPAA/confidentiality standards. Complete and maintain unit-specific training and competency monitors, as well as annual hospital-wide mandatory training. Document care in a timely, accurate, and concise manner using EMR. Demonstrate competence in physically managing aggressive patients and maintain a team approach to care. Work 36 hours per week from 7p-7a.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing
- Successful demonstration of competence in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) prior to independent patient care
- Capable and competent in computer data entry and general program navigation
- Ability to physically manage aggressive patients
- Work Shift 7p-7a (United States of America)
