Job Summary
Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred nursing care in the Cath Lab, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation from admission to discharge. Administer medications safely, maintain accurate confidential documentation, and use the ISBAR tool for handovers and escalations. Work independently with minimal supervision, deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager, and coordinate staff workload. Mentor student nurses, support quality improvement initiatives, and promote efficient resource use by monitoring stock levels and service delivery standards. Required Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with current registration on the NMBI live register
- Minimum of two years' relevant Cath Lab experience
- Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, where applicable to the area of work
