Job Summary
Staff Neuropsychologist responsible for treating clients/patients with mental disorders by selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests; reviewing medical, emotional, and social histories; interviewing and observing clients; diagnosing disorders; establishing treatment goals and approaches; applying psychological therapies; monitoring development; and evaluating/adjusting treatments. Responsibilities include creating emergency protocols and educating families and staff, developing interview techniques and assessment tools (rating scales, tests, surveys) to aid selection and placement, performing accurate psychological assessments, maintaining confidentiality, assisting patients in achieving treatment goals, participating in mental health crisis situations, preparing progress reports, and attending weekly staff meetings in a hybrid work setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) or Doctor of Psychology (Child Psychology)
- Psychologist license (state)
