Job Summary
Build product features for the Member App across React Native and native iOS/Android stacks, transforming hi-fidelity designs into accurate, working capabilities. Lead projects and mentor engineers on software development best practices, leveraging AI tools to accelerate code generation, testing, and documentation. Architect reliable, performant solutions and own technical roadmaps, driving consensus on interoperability and solution design while setting the tone for engineering culture. Take ownership of production incidents and recovery, troubleshooting deeply to root cause and establishing observability patterns. Partner with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver rich, engaging user experiences with a security-first mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with React Native
- strong understanding of the React component lifecycle
- performance optimization
- strong experience in testing fundamentals (unit, integration, and e2e)
- strong experience with Real User Monitoring (RUM) and asset health and observability tooling, such as Datadog or similar
- experience working with CI/CD tools like Circle CI, Drone, or similar
- experience in Native mobile iOS or Android engineering
- experience actively using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate boilerplate code generation, unit testing, and documentation
- experience with accessibility best practices for mobile
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Detox end to end testing suite
- Experience building APIs in JavaScript using Node JS or similar
- Experience working with GraphQL and the Apollo Client
- Experience with App distribution (App Store, Play Store, Beta channels, CodePush, etc.)
- Development of an E-commerce application
