Staff MLOps Engineer (AI/ML Platform)

Job Summary
Staff MLOps Engineer to own Cint's AI/ML platform starting with the Synthetic Data Platform (survey augmentation, respondent profiling) and expanding to Trust Score and other AI/ML initiatives. Responsibilities include auditing and extending the current ML training and serving pipeline, building a shared ML platform (training infra, experiment tracking, model registry, serving), and overseeing the full ML lifecycle from data ingestion to annotation workflows. Will own training infrastructure on Databricks and Unity Catalog, develop low-latency serving APIs and batch scoring, implement observability for data/model drift and accuracy, optimize ML compute costs, and mentor other AI/ML and Infrastructure engineers while driving AI tooling adoption. Proficiency with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS), and polyglot tooling (Python, Scala, Java, Terraform) is expected; Prague-first with Europe-friendly remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading ML platform work at scale
- Strong opinions on feature stores, model registries, serving patterns, and ML observability
- Ability to design APIs and APIs/docs for platform users
- Mentorship of MLOps engineers
- Pragmatic buy-vs-build decisions in ML infra
- Strong proficiency in Python/Scala/Java for Spark and Kubernetes manifests
- Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog
- Kubernetes and cloud experience (AWS EKS)
- Ability to translate business priorities into a roadmap
