Job Summary
Evaluate alternative mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures for ADC, DAC, and SerDes PHY subsystems within FinFET wafer technologies. Design challenging transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits and prepare effective design documents for review. Guide mixed-signal integrated circuit layout, evaluation, and test processes to deliver high-performance semiconductor solutions. Provide technical leadership by making critical architectural decisions, establishing design methodologies, and mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and drive innovation in the Advanced Cores Group.
Required Qualifications
- MS Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of mixed-signal integrated circuit development experience
- Strong understanding of data converter architectures and specifications
- Deep understanding of SerDes PHY architectures and specifications
- Deep understanding of mixed-signal design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies
- Solid understanding of integrated circuit product development, including design, verification, evaluation, test, and qualification
- Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications
- Strong technical leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
