Job Summary
Mission Systems Engineer on Anduril's Air Dominance & Strike team responsible for delivering end-to-end mission outcomes by selecting, integrating, and validating payloads and systems. Responsibilities include conducting trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems; architecting autonomous multi-function payload and system concepts with clear requirements, layout, interfaces, and employment; adapting physics-based models of payload performance; developing validated effects-based models for mission-level modeling and simulation; validating system performance with test & integration engineers; coordinating with AD&S teams to deliver high-performance systems; managing subcontractors and internal development teams to define subsystem requirements and drive performance on schedule; and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Top Secret clearance
- Communications, sensors, and effector domain expertise in one or more of Radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW systems
- Physics-based modeling and analysis of system performance in tool(s) of your choice
- 3+ years in payload integration and validation
- 5+ years in relevant Science and/or Engineering related field
