Staff Mental Health Therapist (Remote)

Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy with a culturally sensitive, strength-based approach. Lead tailored therapy for diverse clients, develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, ensure timely billing and documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive mental health care. Pursue licensure and ongoing professional development through supervision and continuing education, while upholding ethical practice and client confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional license per state regulation if required
- Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing
- Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks
