Staff Mental Health Therapist (Remote)

Job Summary
Deliver outpatient individual and family therapy, conduct culturally sensitive assessments, develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to provide holistic mental health care; ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment planning, and insurance authorizations; participate in case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning; join a multidisciplinary team in a training-friendly environment with ongoing supervision and professional development; base compensation described as base range per billable unit with comprehensive benefits; support for licensure and ethical, confidential practice; remote-friendly role with local presence in Grand Rapids, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- If required, provisional license per state regulation.
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
- Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health including free supervision and continuing education.
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
