Staff Mental Health Therapist (Remote)

Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy in a remote, collaborative care setting. Work with culturally diverse clients to conduct strengths-based assessments, develop crisis/safety/wellness plans, and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions. Participate in case consultations, discharge planning, and ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and insurance authorizations. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and other therapists to support holistic mental health care; engage in ongoing professional development, supervision, and ethical practice to promote high-quality care across local and national contexts.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional license per state regulation if required
- Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks
- Commitment to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care
