Staff Mental Health Therapist (Remote)

Job Summary
Provide outpatient individual and family therapy, conducting culturally sensitive assessments for diverse clients and families. Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning; ensure timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and administrative staff to deliver holistic mental health care. This role emphasizes ongoing professional development, licensing progression, ethical practice, and delivering high-quality care in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- If required, provisional license per state regulation
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
- Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
