Job Summary
Staff Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient individual and family therapy with culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments; develops crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans; participates in case consultations and discharge planning; ensures timely billing and documentation; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff) to deliver holistic mental health care; requires a Master's degree in a related field and licensure per state regulations, with opportunities for supervision and ongoing professional development; offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and dependent coverage; base compensation range noted per billable unit in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
- Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health including supervision and continuing education
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently
