Job Summary
Provide culturally sensitive outpatient individual and family therapy, developing crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans for diverse clients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other professionals to deliver holistic mental health care, participate in case consultations and discharge planning, and ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorization. Embrace ongoing professional development through supervision and continuing education to support licensure goals. The role emphasizes clinical growth, ethical practice, and a sustainable, client-centered approach within a Peoria, IL-based setting (remote title notwithstanding).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional license per state regulation if required
- Educational background leading to professional licensing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health including supervision and continuing education
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and confidentiality practices
