Job Summary
Staff Mental Health Therapist (Remote) provides outpatient individual and family therapy, conducts culturally sensitive assessments, develops crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include case consultations, discharge planning, timely billing and documentation, and ensuring insurance authorization. Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and (if required) provisional state licensure; emphasizes ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and strong communication to support diverse clients and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
- Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
- Educational background leading to professional licensing
- Passionate about mental health and high-quality care
- Ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team
- Strong ethical practice and confidentiality
