Job Summary
Seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineering License to lead mechanical system design and support business development at EAD Engineering. Requires 3-6 years of experience and proficiency in mechanical design software.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineering License (P.E.) or eligibility to obtain it
- 3-6 years of experience in mechanical equipment for industrial and commercial projects
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical design, engineering process plants, and overall facility design
- Food, Parcel, or Life sciences industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of building codes and NFPA standards preferred
- HVAC, heat transfer, drying processes, utility/piping and/or plumbing systems experience preferred
