Job Summary
Staff Machine Learning Engineer responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex ML systems, architecting integrations across the tech stack, and setting engineering standards for ML at scale. Own the AI/ML architecture behind the DFM AI + IQE integration with partner ecosystems (e.g., Teamcenter, Designcenter). Build real-time ML serving pipelines, define data contracts, implement MLOps and observability, and ensure low-latency feedback into designers' environments. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers; mentor engineers; stay current with ML/AI advances; drive scalable cloud-based production systems and multi-quarter roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- 6-8 years of experience in machine learning engineering
- Experience delivering complex ML systems in production
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based real-time ML deployments (AWS preferred)
- Experience with MLOps practices (model monitoring, data drift, retraining pipelines)
- Experience with CI/CD (Github Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes
- Ability to operate independently on ambiguous assignments and communicate across teams
