Job Summary
Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Workiva responsible for architecting and delivering cutting-edge ML solutions across the platform, including integration of Generative AI. Design systems for rapid ML development with high availability and clear observability; develop tools, automation, and ML infrastructure to support scalable, maintainable solutions; lead and mentor engineers, collaborate with product teams to integrate ML features via APIs; drive model deployment, data pipelines, and CI/CD pipelines; conduct code reviews and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24x7 reliability; communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences and apply new technologies to strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years in ML engineering or related software engineering experience
- Proficiency in ML development cycles and toolsets
