Job Summary
Staff Machine Learning Engineer responsible for designing, training, and evaluating ML models and AI systems that drive clinical outcomes for behavioral health. Lead high-impact, end-to-end ML initiatives from inception to production, identify opportunities to apply data-driven algorithms in collaboration with clinical, design, data science, and product teams, and establish best practices for evaluating and retraining models. Build and operate ML infrastructure to serve real-time inferences from live data streams, provide technical mentorship, and foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and design. Role requires four days per week in the NYC office (Flatiron District) with compensation targeting $185k-$247.5k annually, plus potential equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, plus 8+ years of professional experience developing and delivering production software, including machine learning models
- Master’s degree in a technical field, plus 6+ years of professional experience developing and delivering production software, including machine learning models
- Doctoral degree in a technical field, plus 4+ years of professional experience developing and delivering production software, including machine learning models
