Staff Machine Learning Engineer, AI Applications

Staff Machine Learning Engineer, AI Applications at Bolt will define the quality and learning strategy for Bolt’s AI automation across conversational experiences, lead alignment with business goals and policy requirements, build scalable knowledge mining assets from conversations, support tickets, and workflows, and own evaluation strategies for LLM-powered customer support systems. You will develop feedback loops from production signals into prompts, retrieval, benchmarks and model behavior, and collaborate with engineers on AI application infrastructure to improve tool-use quality, routing, memory, and multi-step task performance. The role requires hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented systems and knowledge-heavy domains, and emphasizes strategic and hands-on work, strong communication with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in production AI quality. The position supports a hybrid work model with at least 2 days in the office weekly and is based in Warsaw, Poland.
