Job Summary
Provide first aid and triage for non-occupational and occupational injuries, coordinate off-site referrals, and conduct post-incident follow-ups while maintaining OSHA-compliant documentation and HIPAA standards. Perform return-to-work evaluations, assist in safety audits, and lead health screenings including bloodborne pathogen and hearing conservation programs. Educate employees on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, and PPE use, then partner with safety teams to reduce lost-time injuries and track injury data for prevention initiatives. Work Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, in a manufacturing environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved practical nursing program or college program or associate's degree in a related field
- 2 - 4 years related work experience (occupational health, urgent care, ER, or industrial setting preferred)
- Active LPN license in good standing (state-specific)
- Current certification in CPR in good standing
- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
- Have the ability to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another

- Must have ability to move throughout the processing plant & surrounding environments of the off-site facilities, such as feed mills, hatchery, etc.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
