Staff Licensed Practical Nurse - 1st shift

Job Summary

Provide first aid and triage for non-occupational and occupational injuries, coordinate off-site referrals, and conduct return-to-work evaluations. Maintain OSHA-compliant documentation, injury logs, and medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Perform health screenings, components of medical surveillance programs, and support vaccination initiatives. Educate employees on injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, and PPE use. Partner with safety teams to reduce lost-time injuries and track injury data for prevention initiatives. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30am in a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an approved practical nursing program or college program or associate's degree in a related field
  • 2 - 4 years related work experience (occupational health, urgent care, ER, or industrial setting preferred)
  • Active LPN license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Current certification in CPR in good standing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Clinical judgment
  • Triage skills
  • Strong documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to see, touch, smell & record findings in writing or electronically
  • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
  • Ability to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another
  • Ability to respond as needed to medical emergencies in all areas of the complex
  • Must have ability to move throughout the processing plant & surrounding environments of the off-site facilities, such as feed mills, hatchery, etc.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to see, touch, smell & record findings in writing or electronically
  • Manual dexterity for clinical procedures
  • Have the ability to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another
  • Have ability to respond as needed to medical emergencies in all areas of the complex
  • Must have ability to move throughout the processing plant & surrounding environments of the off-site facilities, such as feed mills, hatchery, etc.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company

Desired Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
