Job Summary
Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements while evaluating internal control systems, audit risk, and compliance with generally accepted auditing standards. Create detailed work papers to support auditing work and work on portions of larger audit and accounting engagements within the Withum India office. Collaborate with US and India-based professionals on various audit engagements under the supervision of managers or partners. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned while communicating effectively with domestic engagement teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of post-qualification hands-on experience with U.S. accounting firm
- Experience and knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards
- Strong command of the English Language, both written and verbal communication
- Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic
- Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations
- Ability to work on multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate as a team with the Domestic (US) engagement teams
