Staff iOS Engineer (BFF)

Lead the design and delivery of high-quality iOS features end-to-end for Bumble For Friends and Plans, setting technical direction for complex iOS initiatives and translating product ambition into scalable mobile architecture. Champion Swift-based architecture (MVVM, The Composable Architecture-inspired patterns) in large production codebases, with a focus on UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, performance, accessibility, localisation, and app lifecycle. Own reliability and performance across the iOS experience, collaborate across mobile, backend, product, design, data, and safety partners, mentor engineers through reviews and testing strategy, and drive responsible AI-assisted development workflows with human judgment and privacy considerations. You’ll work in a hybrid on-site model in Austin or NYC, shaping technical trade-offs, server- and client-side integration, and delivering impact at scale while upholding Bumble’s values.
