Job Summary
The International Security Specialist develops, implements, and manages comprehensive security programs supporting global operations, integrating Personnel Security, Physical Security, Communications Security, Cyber Security, and Information Security to protect personnel, assets, information, and infrastructure across international environments. Responsibilities include administering PERSEC programs, conducting risk assessments, overseeing physical security plans for international facilities, managing COMSEC policies, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, developing INFOSEC policies, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and host-nation security regulations. The role requires 10+ years of security experience, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance, strong analytical and communication skills, and travel up to 50% internationally. It is based onsite in Frisco, Texas, with travel to support global operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in security studies, International Relations, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in one or more security disciplines (PERSEC, PHYSEC, COMSEC, Cyber, INFOSEC)
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. government security frameworks and standards (e.g., NISPOM, NIST, DoD directives)
- Experience conducting risk assessments, security audits, and incident response
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret, as required)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel domestic and/or internationally 50% of the time
- This role is primarily an onsite role and will be based in Frisco, TX
