Job Summary
Staff Interior Designer responsible for developing thoughtful, innovative design solutions across Corporate and Higher Education sectors, collaborating with project teams to shape spaces that are functional and engaging. Must contribute to design documentation, presentations, and materials selection (furnishings, finishes, color palettes), support proposals and marketing materials, and communicate effectively with clients and consultants. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max is required; strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced studio. Local to New Haven or Manhattan with a focus on maintaining positive client and project-team relationships; familiarity with building codes and accessibility standards; experience across multiple market sectors and collaboration in design discussions is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
- 5-7 years of professional interior design experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max
