Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary
Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy secure production systems across cloud-native and edge deployments. You will embed with cross-functional teams, advise on infrastructure and deployment security, own end-to-end infrastructure outcomes, and harden the artifact pipeline for cloud, high-side, and air-gapped environments. Collaborate with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to support STIGs, CVE remediation, and audits for environments such as IL5, IL6, and JWICS. Strong emphasis on security-by-design, production-readiness, and ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years operating production infrastructure in DevOps/DevSecOps, Platform, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles
- Full-stack engineering experience in production systems
- Deep Kubernetes experience: operators, networking, storage, multi-cluster
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
- Strong infrastructure security fundamentals: identity, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability classes
- Ability to build solutions from scratch and integrate disparate applications
- Experience shipping workloads into air-gapped environments
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
- Nice to have: active US SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance, GovCloud, FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, IL6, JWICS, SOC 2
- Audit experience (FedRAMP, SOC 2)
- Big data and distributed data experience
- Defense, intelligence, or regulated industries experience
