Job Summary
Execute project work with minimal supervision, managing 1+ simultaneous projects and meeting internal production deadlines. Identify errors and solve moderate geophysical problems independently, while running and monitoring processing job decks to optimize steps. Provide suggestions to improve existing software and develop new technology, ensuring quality control of products and resolving production issues. Mentor Junior Geophysicists in job setup, execution, and time management. This role sits within Viridien's GEO EH Imaging team, leveraging multi-disciplinary approaches to solve complex environmental challenges for a sustainable future.
Required Qualifications
- Master or higher in Geosciences, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other analytical discipline
- At least 2-4 years of experience in related field

- Capability in identifying errors and understanding geophysical problems to solve moderate geophysical problems independently
- Responsible for a processing project under supervision
- Provide suggestions to improve existing software, develop new technology, and improve the products and services offered
- Responsible for developing and optimizing some processing steps in projects, running, and monitoring processing job decks
- Responsible for the quality control (QC) of products and solve production problems independently
- May mentor Junior Geophysicists in job setup, execution, QC of output, and time management
- Responsible for managing 1+ simultaneous projects and for meeting internal production deadlines
- Possess and apply comprehensive technical knowledge to completion of complex assignments
- Senior professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work
- Master the use of available software, tools, and techniques and provides suggestions for improvements
