Job Summary
Owns the I4.0 product roadmap and leads cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, data science) to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions that improve cost, scale, quality and productivity. Translates user requirements into technical specifications for data science, IT, and engineering teams; collaborates with global teams to deploy data-science solutions in production with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement. Defines artifacts for software development, design, testing, and releases; communicates with peers and senior management; designs UI prototypes and APIs for data visualization and analytics; enables scalable tooling and standardized processes across sites. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in smart manufacturing or similar operations, 3+ years in data science/analytics, expertise in data engineering (ETL, SQL, Snowflake), web development (Angular/JS/TS/HTML), APIs/JSON/XML, and experience leading cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in smart manufacturing, process engineering, or similar operations
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of data engineering (ETL, data warehousing, SQL, database management systems such as Snowflake)
- Proficiency in web development (Angular, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML) and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power Platform)
- Experience with APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and Agile development processes
- Strong domain knowledge in capacity modeling, planning and optimization, or line management and manufacturing performance monitoring
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and systems (e.g., MES, SAP) is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- 5+ years leading cross-functional and global teams
- 3+ years hands-on data science or analytics experience
