Job Summary
Collect field data for well drilling, completion, development, and testing, and gather samples for water monitoring projects. Assist with hydrogeologic analysis using numerical models and support environmental field work, geologic mapping, and database maintenance. Generate technical reports and collaborate with clients and senior staff on water planning and groundwater flow modeling projects across New Mexico and Texas. Requires a B.S. in geology or water resources, U.S. citizenship, and ability to work in various field locations.
Required Qualifications
- B.S in Geology, Hydrogeology, or water resource related field
- 0 to 3 yrs relevant experience
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work with all JSAI personnel and clients to accomplish project goals
- Ability to work in the field in various locations in and outside of Albuquerque
- Basic understanding of construction industry
- Ability to use hand tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (excel and WORD)
- Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
- Strong ability to multitask
- Friendly and upbeat demeanor
