Job Summary

Lead and direct cross-functional hardware engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases for medium to high-risk projects. Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts by interpreting statements of work and developing project budgets and schedules using Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Interface with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance departments to secure staffing and manage supplier requirements. Brief internal and customer leadership on progress while performing in a fast-paced environment with high expectations. Requires current/active Secret Clearance and Program Award. Located in Baltimore, MD.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline
  • 12 years of related experience
  • Master's Degree
  • 10 years of related experience
  • 4 years of Experience as Hardware Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • 4 years of Engineering leadership experience in a team environment
  • 4 years of experience in the Hardware Design, Manufacturing or Test process
  • 4 years of experience with developing and executing project schedules
  • Active and current Top Secret government clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in hardware development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systems
  • Experience with certification as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projects
  • Self-motivated
  • Highly organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in utilizing the Engineering Design Process for the planning and execution of projects
  • PMP certification
